Artist(s): Jiro Okada, bosque aroma
Composer(s): Michiru Yamane, Takashi Yoshida, Masahiko Kimura
Album/Game Title: Genso Suikoden III Music Collection ~Rustling of the Wind~
Track Title: Koroku's Theme
Disc Number: only one
Track Number: 03
Catalog Number: KMCA-170
Year: 2002
Additional Information: "Rustling of the Wind" is correct; the Romaji is "Kaze no Zawameki" for crying out loud. The track title is "Ro's Theme" on the OST, but here it's clearly "Koroku's Theme". #gamemp3s also attributed Jiro Okada to this particular song, in addition to the "bosque aroma" group.

Artist(s): David Wise
Album/Game Title: Star Fox Adventures (Game Rip)
Track Title: LightFoot Village
Disc Number: none
Track Number: none
Catalog Number: none
Year: 2002
Additional Information: Didn't keep the track number since it was based on the sound test, which didn't exactly have the music in any logical order in the first place.

Artist(s): Maxis
Album/Game Title: The Sims 2 (PC Game Rip)
Track Title: Pop Station - Track 4
Disc Number: none
Track Number: none
Catalog Number: none
Year: 2004
Additional Information: Since Mothersbaugh is not credited in the section for "Audio" -> "Stereo Object Music" (radio, I assume), I'm hesitant to peg him as the artist. I also listened to all the clips on the Sims 2 page (except for the "spooky" stuff, and stuff from the University expansion), and none of it matched this song. I'll put "Maxis" as the artist and call it a night.

Okay, enough dilly-dallying. I'm doing the rest and making sure voting starts tomorrow.

I'll get the Ys and Spiderman/X-Men tracks.

EDIT:
Artist: Masahiko Andou, Hiroshi Shinkawa, Shouko Minami
Composer: Falcom Sound Team JDK
Album/Game Title: Perfect Collection Ys
Track Title: Endless History (Ys - The Morning Grow)
Disc Number: 2 (of 2)
Track Number: 7
Catalog Number: KICA-1012~3
Year: 1990
Additional Information: There's a pretty good chance the track was just composed by Yuzo Koshiro, since the GMR entry says that all of the music from Ys except for one track was composed by him. Falcom Sound Team JDK plays it safe. Also, disagreement on whether the name of the original is "The Morning Grow" or "The Morning Glow." "Grow" seems more prevalent, so I picked that.

Artist: Tim Follin, Geoff Follin
Album/Game Title: Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (Game Rip)
Track Title: Gambit
Disc Number: none
Track Number: none
Catalog Number: none
Year: 1992

I don't know why Dragon God hasn't researched any tracks yet...I was just talking to him on AIM. :-/

I've been busy doing things like fixing coding issues on the SotW site and getting Mo0 set up for starting the Voting rounds, so I haven't even had time to do any research myself.

I have a million other things to do right now, so I have no choice but to delay SotW voting until Tuesday.

EDIT: Because we're past due, the remaining songs are open to anyone to research. Just post here before doing so.

Artist: Yuichi Sakakura, Tomoya Tomita, Kouzou Nakamura
Album/Game Title: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (Game Rip)
Track Title: Track 1
Disc Number: none
Track Number: none
Catalog Number: none
Year: 1991
Additional Information: I don't know if there's an official name for the track, but in the NSF I have it's the background music for Scene 1. Dunno if you want to change the name to "Scene 1 BGM" or something.

That's fine CHz; I actually meant to assign stuff earlier. I've now made the assignments. Hopefully next week will bring Neo Belhelmel into the research team just as he stated when he volunteered.

Joe Hisaishi! *dies* Just two tonight, but I can do more tomorrow.

Artist: Yasunori Mitsuda
Album/Game Title: Sailing to the World
Track Title: Point of No Return
Disc Number: 1 (of 1)
Track Number: 8
Catalog Number: SBPS-0003
Year: 2002
Additional Information: This one was REALLY straightforward. Hope no one minds that I stole it.
Source: http://www.chudahs-corner.com/soundtracks/sbps0003.html

Artist: Shigeku Hayashi
Composer: Joe Hisaishi
Album/Game Title: Tengai Makyo II Manjimaru Original Soundtrack
Track Title: L Map (General)
Disc Number: 1 (of 2)
Track Number: 7
Catalog Number: SSCX-10109~10110
Year: 2003
Additional Information: Very slight disagreements on terms in this one. First, some sites listed "Manji Maru" instead of "Manjimaru," so I went with the one with more Google hits. The track title was trickier... it seemed like more listed "L Map (General)," instead of "L Map (Normal Version)," but it was pretty close.

I tried checking out the track from The Sims, but I got as far as http://thesims2.ea.com/getcoolstuff/music.php. Not sure if any of the tracks on that page (presumably the songs under the heading "Get a taste of all the neighborhood radio stations in The Sims 2") are the one submitted, or whether it's a completely different one.
